Amazon on Tuesday announced a new chatbot called Q for people to use at work. The Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Duet AI for Google Workspace for business workers both cost $30 per person per month. As a result, with Q, people can discuss information that's stored in Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Salesforce and Zendesk, along with AWS' S3 data-storage service. Administrators will be able to determine whether Q can answer people's questions about general topics, said Deepak Singh, an AWS vice president. Morning Bid: Fearless?
  + stars: | 2022-11-23 | by ( ) www.reuters.com   time to read: +4 min
As bond markets furiously flag a looming recession, stock markets suddenly seem fearless. Wall St's so-called 'fear index' of implied equity volatility (.VIX) fell on Tuesday to its lowest level since August. Put against the deepening inversion of the U.S. 2-10 year Treasury yield curve to its most negative in 22 years, typically a harbinger of recession ahead, the apparent stock market calm is puzzling. Some analysts reckon stock market positioning is already so low and portfolios so underweight equity that demand for downside protection in the options market has waned too. Any hoping for an end to the jump in interest rate rate rises around the world were also disappointed.
Zoom shares down 90% from peak as pandemic boom fades

Nov 22 (Reuters) - Shares of Zoom Video Communications Inc (ZM.O) have tumbled about 90% from their pandemic peak in October 2020 as the former investor darling struggles to adjust to a post-COVID world. The stock was down 9% in premarket trading on Tuesday after the company cut its annual sales forecast and posted its slowest quarterly growth, prompting at least six brokerages to cut their price targets. Reuters Graphics"Zoom has a fundamental flaw - it has needed to spend heavily to keep hold of market share. Spending to cling onto, rather than grow, market share is never a good place to be and was a sign of trouble ahead," Hargreaves Lansdown equity analyst Sophie Lund-Yates said. Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff said the cloud software company has much more to do in the area of cybersecurity following an attack at Uber involving Salesforce's Slack chat app. "There's no finish line when it comes to security and social engineering," Benioff said during a press conference at Salesforce's Dreamforce conference in San Francisco on Tuesday. Most of the company's engineering team works on security and trust, said Bret Taylor, Salesforce's other co-CEO.
